Electronic Technician & Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Technician & Test Engineer to join our team. As an Electronic Technician & Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in assembling and testing electronic components and systems, ensuring their functionality and adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities
- Perform electronic component assembly including soldering, wiring, programming, and attaching components according to technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct testing, programming of PIC's, troubleshooting of electronic circuits and systems to identify and resolve any issues or defects to the component level (SMT).
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to review designs, provide feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly procedures, test results, and any modifications made during the assembly process.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare kit builds of materials for contracted manufacturers.
- Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of electronic components and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Ship product internationally.
- Occasionally field work call and assisting with R&D lab work for product development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in electronic assembly, including soldering, wiring, and reading technical drawings.
- Familiarity with electronic testing equipment and tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Strong understanding of electronic components, their functions, and common assembly techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for intricate assembly tasks.
- Must be able to confidently handle hand tools such as hand drills, screwdrivers, cordless screwdrivers, etc.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Work with little or no supervision.
- Must have a vehicle and clean driver's abstract.
- Proficient in productivity software such as Microsoft Word, Excel.
